Ron Paul

So after some urging from my friend Sorayah, and after driving through Knoxville and seeing a banner on an overpass saying “Ron Paul Revolution” – with NO blocking out the ev in revolution, and after hearing a debate on 100.3 about the man, I decided to check him out.

I figured that he must be creating a stir and having some kind of impact on others, so let’s see. I read about his stance on issues and I agree with everything he says. Of course, some of them were vague and he had no resolution for some of the issues, he just talked about them needing to be fixed.

This is alarming to me because I want answers. I want you to tell me how you plan to resolve our major ordeals…or at least go about starting to. If you’re going to be President, you better present a very clear cut argument on all major issues. And I think you should also incorporate some new ideas.

And you should get your ass in the media a lot!! I want to hear a lot from you.

LA Ink

I was watching LA Ink reruns tonight – in between watching Fargo – and just thought about how much I love Kat Von D. She’s beautiful and I love her work!!

Tonight, Kim did a tat of flowers on a girl’s back and it was fabulous…and she’s a fast artist. I have been trying to plan out my next tat. I know I want something for Aidan. I think I want a flying star with his name in the middle….or a flying heart. I’m going to dig through Mike’s flash work and get some ideas and piece some stuff together. Of course, I will design something in it myself.

Aside from tattoos…

I checked out Dennis Kucinich and his wife and am impressed. I was only able to briefy look, but know that I’m going back when I have time. Thanks to Katrina for the referral.

It’s all a game of Russian Roulette….what kind of person our next President will be.

So I read a post today about Obama visiting a church in SC recently. Go here if you want to read it: Think on These Things.

And I was thinking about how picking our President is all a game of Russian Roulette: we listen to their speeches and what they are all for and against and hope that they will apply these things once they’ve taken office. HOPE.

We all know it doesn’t always happen. They’ll talk a good game then get in there and do something totally opposite or they’ll change their views on national issues. Then we’re stuck with the outcome of their decisions.

Take for example, Bush. He’s just an idiot and I think a lot of us knew that…SOMEHOW he wound up being elected (*cough*cheating/bribery*cough*) and has run this country through the mud. Our nation has been battered and bruised and not because of the war, but because of what’s going on inside the US. Our government is on a powertrip and we can never win. No matter how far ahead we get, or how much we catch up, we are still far behind. When we think things are going good and improving, something else that greatly effects us all takes a nosedive.

We certainly can’t have it all, can we??

A Jill of All Trades

31 year old mother of Aidan, born January 27, 2007. Wife to a music man and tattoo artist on the side. I blog about everything under the sun and don't care if I offend anyone. Hopefully I can put a few stitches in your side.
I love music, fashion, tattoos and web design. Without those things, I'd feel lost. I always want more, more, more...like Billy Idol says. More fashion, more music, more tattoos.

AND....I am not the same person who owns jillofalltrades.com nor am I affiliated with her. My web design business is known as The Design Parlor.
