A couple of months ago I saw a frame at Target that was entirely coated in seashells and was oh so cute and very fitting for my new bedroom theme. It was a 4X6 and $16.99. They still have them for sale, but next to them I found a bag of seashells. So I scooped up the bag and bought an empty craft frame and decided to make my own. The shells were $7 and the frame was $3. I have to buy a piece of glass for the frame, but so far I have saved $7 and have my own custom frame made with love! I added in the shells that Mike and I got when we first went to the beach about 4 years ago and one from our honeymoon. He’ll love it!
I thought about making this for him for Father’s day and inserting a memorable pic, but I think I’m going to make him a video of our days together and put some music and words to it. I already have ideas in my head for what I’d like to add, but am going to have to play around with my software. He made a video for me a few years ago of when we went to Cherokee Falls and it was SO sweet!!
Yesterday, my studly hubs crawled under our house and cleaned out his the pipes. Our water now drains without any problem. He said there was paint in there, “gooey yellow shit” and some stuff that nearly made him gag. I think the clog was all the grease I pour down the drain. Even though I run hot water along with it, it’s still not a good idea. Time to invest in some mason jars!
I’ve been cleaning up around the house and now that I can do laundry without having to sweep the sea off my carport, I’m getting that done!
First I’m going to shop online for some curtains. I may look at T.J. Maxx, too.
I balanced my checkbook this morning and my bank says I have exactly $513 more than I say. Hmph. Maybe I missed something? See I’ve been thinking that my account should have more in it than it does because of some extra cash and stuff a while back that we had.
I don’t want to test it, though.

Now I wonder how long its been since those pipes were cleaned out? lol The drains have always been on the slow side…
Maybe try Big Lots and Family Dollar for curtains. They’re both hit or miss, but I’ve been lucky and finding good stuff there lately.
Big LOts has some Nautica sheets!!! Too bad I invested in very expensive sheets for my Nautica comforter that I use from time-to-time.
I went to T.J. Maxx and found some nice organic sheets, but for no less than they sell them at Target.
I didn’t see any curtains at T.J. Maxx, so I’ll look at Big Lots. I’ve seen nice ones there before and now the store has increased it’s size here and is selling furniture so it’s very likel I’ll find something good.
lookit you! …. for a minute I thought you were gonna say hubs found a bunch of hot glue and shells in the pipes…
HAHA!!
Nope. No hot glue or shells!!
