I’m still alive.

Barely.

Man, I haven’t been THAT sick in a long time. I’m still sick, just not as horribly as the past two day. It all started on Thursday….gradually. Friday I was feeling a little ickier. Friday night I was watching Aidan in his room and paid down on his rug and was falling asleep, even when he was rolling his wooden ride-along zebra into my head, I wasn’t budging.

I went straight to bed and died. All through the night I had the worst body aches and chills. I woke up several times through the night. At 6:20am I awoke, stripped off all of my clothes and went to the bathroom to hack. When I did, it gave me the urge to vomit so my body tried, but nothing came out. I could barely stand up because the body aches were so horrible. I called in to work about 30 minutes later.

I slept until about 4:30pm, when I couldn’t sleep anymore. I got up and lounged on the couch for the most part. Mike wanted to order Pizza Hut. In my state of delirium, I agreed. We spent $21.29 on two medium pizzas, of which I ate two pieces. How, I don’t know?! All I’ve been living off of is chicken noodle soup for the past two days.

So, anyhoo. I felt good enough to stay up for a movie. We watched The Gingerbread Man. By the end of it, my body aches were horrible again. I felt very stiff. So I decided to go back to bed and call in for work tomorrow. It took me forever to fall asleep; I guess because I wasn’t sleepy, just sore. I slept until about 9:30am this morning, but I have some things to take care of for Aidan’s birthday. I am going to bake him some cucpakes. I’m not sure if I’ll go to his party since I still feel like hell, but I really want to. We’ll see what I feel like in a couple of hours.

A Jill of All Trades

31 year old mother of Aidan, born January 27, 2007. Wife to a music man and tattoo artist on the side. I blog about everything under the sun and don't care if I offend anyone. Hopefully I can put a few stitches in your side.
I love music, fashion, tattoos and web design. Without those things, I'd feel lost. I always want more, more, more...like Billy Idol says. More fashion, more music, more tattoos.

AND....I am not the same person who owns jillofalltrades.com nor am I affiliated with her. My web design business is known as The Design Parlor.
